As a new polymer material with the richest application scenarios and the strongest performance plasticity, polyurethane runs through the entire industrial chain of raw materials, additives, intelligent equipment, finished product manufacturing, and terminal applications. Relying on core advantages such as lightweight, thermal insulation, shock absorption and sealing, and weather resistance and corrosion resistance, it deeply empowers thousands of industries including green buildings, new energy vehicles, high-end equipment, cold chain logistics, medical health, synthetic leather, home appliances, and wind power and photovoltaics. It is a key basic material supporting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and the realization of the "dual carbon" goals.
At present, China is the world's largest production and consumption market for polyurethane, with production capacity and consumption accounting for nearly half of the global total. Relying on complete chemical industry supporting facilities, the East China Yangtze River Delta has become the core gathering place for the national polyurethane industry. The 2027 China (Shanghai) International Polyurethane Exhibition will be grandly held from May 18 to 20, 2027, at the Shanghai Automotive Exhibition Center. This exhibition connects the entire polyurethane industry chain and centrally displays isocyanates, polyols, functional additives, soft and hard foam products, elastomers, adhesives and coatings, intelligent foaming complete sets of equipment, testing instruments, waste PU recycling technologies, and integrated application solutions for various industries. It gathers leading domestic and foreign enterprises, "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" manufacturers, scientific research institutes, and industry associations to display and exchange on the same stage.
